Empowering
neurodiverse children and adolescents
We empower neurodiverse children and adolescents, along with their families, caregivers, and professional teams, to reach their full potential through specialized 1:1 speech, occupational, and physical therapy. Whether in our home clinic or at your child’s private school or behavioral center, we integrate therapy into their daily routine. By taking a truly collaborative team approach, we work together to support children with more complex needs and help them thrive.
How Lively Therapy Stands Out From The Crowd
-
We’re always hiring to prevent long waitlists and ensure every child gets timely therapy. We’re in-network with many insurances (including Medicaid), file out-of-network claims, accept scholarships and grants, and offer a sliding scale to make specialized therapy accessible to all.
-
We believe every individual, regardless of impairment or severity, is capable of learning and thriving. We treat all children with respect and assume they have the ability to succeed.
-
Individualized Patient Treatment through continual assessment of each child's personal needs, child-led and strengths-based approach.
-
Adjusting treatment plans to challenge or promote success in a timely manner.
-
We find, follow, and incorporate special interests so each child is motivated and has fun while learning how to better communicate and gain communicative confidence.
-
We consider all domains (social, independent functioning, cognitive, self-regulation, and gross/fine motor) of your child’s health and provide reliable community-based referrals when necessary.
-
Parent input is highly valued and an important piece of crafting each client’s treatment plan; encourage parents to be active participants in crafting a treatment plan and during treatment sessions to continue work at home. Place value and provide a team-based approach with other service providers.
-
We will work hard to ensure that each child we see has access to a meaningful, robust communication system regardless of their physical or cognitive impairments. We believe in Total Communication and that behaviors are often communication.
